Since March 2016 I tested 80 different pairs of AA and 56 different pairs of AAA cells.
2020 was, yet again, a boring year with no improvements in capacity or cycle life. The last year’s finding of FDK HR-AAULT passed 1800 cycles and is still going strong. Let’s see how far it gets.
In 2020 I changed the way I calculate the average capacity. It used to be the average till 80%, now it’s the weighted average till 80% and till 100 mOhm (200 mOhm for AAA cells).
