TechnoLine BC700
Functions
- Charge - 200, 500, 700 mA - Default 200 mA
- Discharge (DC) - 100, 250, 350 mA - shows accumulated (charge) capacity
- Refresh (DC) - 100, 250, 350 mA - keeps discharging and charging until no further increase in discharge capacity is detected
- Test (CDC) - 200, 500, 700 mA
Accuracy
Charge | Discharg | |
---|---|---|
500 | 473 | 521 |
1000 | 952 | 1048 |
1500 | 1423 | 1585 |
Chargers 5% less into the cell than it says. Discharge reads 4-6% higher.
Liked
- overheat protection works fine - interrupts charging until the cells cool down
- does not reject batteries with high internal impedance, but that’s OK, the overheat protection keeps things safe
Disliked
- stupid limitation - battery in new slot can not be charged with higher current than the max current in already used slots
Wished
- The default charge current was a more practical 500 mA
- Discharge did not recharge the cell, but left it discharged
- Refresh did only one DC cycle and showed both discharge and charge capacity
- Used a more common 12V DC adapter instead of 3V DC
